TeamUp e a unique 6-month programme sponsored by EIT Food, a leading European food innovation initiative backed by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). TeamUp is designed to match leading technologists with entrepreneurial business professionals, providing them with the tools and support needed to co-create impactful agrifood ventures.
TeamUp looks for:
????????#Technologists and scientists who have an agrifood solution and wish to team-up with the right co-founder to commercialise their technologies.
???????? All business professionals and #Entrepreneurs who wish to build a startup that drives change in the agrifood sector towards a healthier future.
EIT Food research indicates that startups with strong teams are better equipped to commercialize promising agrifood solutions and transform our food system. The TeamUp programme aims to bridge this gap by providing expert guidance, world-class training, mentorship, networking, and funding to carefully matched teams of technologists and business professionals.

The TeamUp programme consists of four phases:

  1. Application: Apply as a technologist, early-stage startup, or business professional.
  2. Matchmaking: EIT Food will facilitate the process to find the ideal co-founder.
  3. Exploration: In this 3-month phase, teams receive training, coaching, and expert support as well as a €2,000 stipend per team to develop their value proposition and business model.
  4. Graduation: Teams present their learnings and pitch their future plans, with the most promising teams receiving funding from EIT Food (up to €40,000).
