WE.Circular featured at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025

We have the pleasure to announce, that WE.Circular project will participate in the official programme of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025 – the most significant annual event of the European Union, dedicated to regional policy and development.

Women Breaking Barriers: Gender-Responsive Twin Transformation Across Regions

The session will gather representatives of three european projects, that promote women's leadership in the context of the green and digital transition:

  • WE.Circular – focused on policies and an enabling environment for women entrepreneurs in the Danube Region

  • GRANDIS – European policies for sustainable and digital development of women-led SMEs

  • Developing Women Empowerment Models in Manufacturing Industry – fostering women’s participation in manufacturing and STEM through models for inclusive transformation 

The session will focus on:
  • Applicable and scalable models for empowering women entrepreneurs
  • Cross-sector policy dialogue and institutional cooperation
  • Practical examples from European projects and regions
  • Policy recommendations for inclusive and sustainable regional growth

RAPIV will present results, tools, and best practices from the WE.Circular project, aimed at fostering circular entrepreneurship, digital skills, and gender-responsive smart specialisation strategies.

The event is open to all stakeholders — representatives of local and regional authorities, business support organizations, policymakers, experts, and partners.
