The second thematic seminar and workshop on "Building regional clusters and coordinating action to adapt to climate change" took place between 30 November and 02 December 2009 in Valencia, Spain. The event is part of the "REGIOCLIMA - Regional Cooperation for Adaptation to Climate Change" project, which is implemented under the INTERREG IVC 2007-2013 program and co-financed by the ERDF.

The purpose of the second thematic seminar is to show the good practices implemented by the Valencia region in terms of measures to adapt to climate change and to provide insights into studies conducted over the years by scientists in the area of water and climate characteristics of the Western Mediterranean.

The seminar also enables participants to exchange ideas on the interest of climate change and adaptation stakeholders.

The Bulgarian delegation is led by Dr. Dimitar Radev, CEO of RAPIV. The members of the delegation from RAPIV are Mrs. Maria Zlateva - Petkova, financial manager and Mrs. Irina Kircheva, project specialist.

Interactive working groups: "Building regional clusters and coordinating actions to adapt to climate change" with the help of moderators;

2. Visit to the CEAM Research Center (Center for Environmental Studies in the Mediterranean) and a presentation by Prof. Milan Milan, Director of CEAM;

3. Visit to the natural dunes and park;

4. Financial Management Requirements: Presentation of the web portal by an external expert: on-line session;

5. Steering Committee.
