RE-FEM: Final Multiplier event

 October started with and inspiring event in Seville. 

On 1st October 2025  at the historic Palacio Marqueses de La Algaba in Seville took place the final  Multiplier event under project RE-FEM: Upskilling pathways for REsiliency in the post-Covid era for FEMale Entrepreneurs, organised by the partner Andalucía Emprende.

The hybrid-format event brought together nearly 200 participants from across Europe — representatives of institutions, research organizations, business structures, and women entrepreneurs. Its main goal was to present the project’s achievements, exchange good practices, and discuss future perspectives for fostering women’s entrepreneurship in Europe.

Opening and presentations

The event was opened by Francisco Javier González Navarro, The event was opened by the Director General for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Continuing Education at the Regional Government of Andalusia, who emphasized the importance of initiatives like RE-FEM in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The main highlights of the programme included:

Presentation of the project results by Dr. Katalin Oborni, Senior Project Manager at HETFA Research Institute;

  • A video overview of the project’s achievements, presented by Nieves García Pereira from Andalucía Emprende;

  • A keynote speech by Anna Häggblom, an entrepreneur and AI expert, dedicated to the role of digitalisation and artificial intelligence in strengthening the resilience of women-led businesses. 

Presentation of result by RAPIV 

RAPIV presented one of the project’s key outputs – the Training Manual, developed as a practical guide for skills development and support of women entrepreneurs.


Discussion pannels

The programme featured two thematic round tables. The first one, held in English under the title “Resilient Futures: Supporting Women Entrepreneurs in Times of Crisis”, focused on the main findings of the project and the presentation of the final RE-FEM policy study.

The panel was moderated by Sanja Popovic-Pantic, Head of the Centre for Science and Technology Policy Research at the Mihajlo Pupin Institute (Serbia) and Chair of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Serbia. Among the participants were:

  • Gabriela Kostovska Bogoeva, Co-founder and Executive Director of the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research, North Macedonia;

  • Zsuzsanna Lukács Lakatosné, Deputy State Secretary for Enterprise Protection, Ministry of National Economy, Hungary;

  • Ludwig Stendahl, business developer at Connect Norr Västerbotten, Sweden.

Key takeaways from the discussion

  • Access to finance and markets remains a major challenge for women entrepreneurs, requiring targeted, regionally adapted solutions.

  • Closer coordination between business, academia, and civil society is needed to create inclusive policies.

  • It is essential to encourage the participation of women innovators and investors and to foster an environment that supports their growth.

  • The principle of gender equality should be systematically integrated into all policies and programmes.

The final event in Seville was not just a conclusion of the project but an inspiring gathering that highlighted the importance of resilience, collaboration, and the development of women entrepreneurs’ skills across Europe.
