On 27.01. 2016 RAPIV organized in Varna Black Sea Hotel the final conference "Adapting to Climate Change - Opportunities for Sustainable Development" under the ClimAD project, financed under the NGO Support Program in Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the EEA 2009 - 2014 by the donor countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. 

The purpose of the final conference is to increase society's awareness of climate change adaptation, to support the participation of NGOs in stimulating policies for balanced development and sustainable use of natural resources and to familiarize policy makers with project results and proposals for incorporating European policies and good practices in regional and local sustainable development plans.
